Gallstone!

Gallstones are pieces of solid material that form in the gallbladder, a small organ under the liver. The doctor can say that you are suffering from cholelithiasis.

The gallbladder stores and releases bile, a fluid made in the liver to help digestion. bile also carried wastes like cholesterol and bilirubin that the body makes when it breaks down red Blood cells. These things can form gallstones.

Gallstones can range from the size of a grain of sand to that of a golf ball. Until they block the bile duct, causing pain we don’t feel it. Once affected it needs quick treatment. Allopathic doctors’ only way to treat it is surgery.

There are two types of gallstones:

Cholesterol stones: These are generally yellow in nature. They are the most common, making up 80% of gallstones

Pigment stones: These are smaller and darker. They are made of bilirubin

symptoms of Gallstones:

1. pain in the upper belly, often on the right side or just under ribs
2. pain in the right shoulder or back
3. stomach upset
4. vomiting & nausea
5. digestive problems including indigestion, heartburn & gas

most of the time pain lasts for several hours. patients may feel chills. there may be yellow skin or eyes. dark urine and light coloured stool.
